El Yoso Casa Rural
El Yoso wasn’t always the beautiful retreat it is today, it took us almost four years to remodel the house.
The property was once a farm dwelling for cattle herds and has been fully remodeled using salvaged materials. The antique terracotta tiles offer a warm rustic look, and well-chosen natural materials have been matched together by a carpenter and a stonemason. The house is filled with treasured antiques collected by generations and a delightful attention to detail brings life to this home.
Surrounded by lush landscaping, the covered barbecue and sauna hut offers the best indoor-outdoor living experience. The exterior was created with the materials perfect for achieving a look that blends in with the surrounding trees and landscape, creating the perfect hideaway. Spreading out from the cottage, are forest and mountains with more cows and donkeys than people.
El Yoso is situated in the green and beautiful north of Spain, in the natural park of Valles Pasiegos, Cantabria. Half an hour away from the most impressive beaches.
It is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature.
